Eiffel Tower

Choose between the pleasure of seeing the Tower from the river and the separate experience of going up.

Why make time for it?

If you would rather spend the evening at dinner than in a queue, enjoy a view from a public riverside route instead. An ascent is optional.

First visits; skyline views; an evening walk. Leave a generous half-day for an ascent; a riverside view is flexible. This is a suggested allowance, not a guaranteed visit duration.

Choose the right admission

A view from a public street needs no Tower ticket. Going up requires its own ticket; this page does not reserve one.

Before you go

Choose the level, lift or stairs and date on the official site. Weather, maintenance and capacity can change access.

Access & arrangements

Check access for the exact level and ticket. Do not assume a summit ticket has the same access arrangements as lower levels.

Read the current ticket’s cancellation and entry conditions before payment. Votonde has not reserved a slot.

Pair it with

A café stop or a riverside walk is enough to make a full morning. For the next choice, return to the Paris things-to-do guide.
