An editorial escape · independently chosen and separately booked
The Paris edit · for two
Paris, after dark.
A Left Bank hideaway, art-filled mornings and the Seine turning gold. Three nights to find a little more time for each other.

For couples who enjoy a memorable evening and a slower morning.
Cafés and small streets, with the river close enough for another stroll.
An Orsay visit and an evening sightseeing cruise, booked separately.
Three nights, a flexible plan and no need to fill every hour.

A stay that belongs to the story
Hôtel d’Aubusson
Come back from the river to a quieter kind of evening. On Rue Dauphine, this is a base for Saint-Germain’s galleries and cafés, with a pool for the pause between sightseeing and dinner.
Café Laurent’s jazz evenings give the hotel a reason to be part of the trip, rather than simply somewhere to sleep. Check the programme for your dates.
An editorial suggestion, not a first-hand review or a confirmed room offer. This is a five-star property; compare its actual rate with your budget.
Your days, with room to breathe
Four days. A little less hurry.
Planning only · no availability search or date transfer to suppliers.
Choose dates if useful, or explore a flexible three-night break.
Day 1
Arrive, exhale, find your Paris
- Morning
- Travel to Paris at a pace that leaves room to arrive. Keep this day free of prepaid activities: a delayed flight or train should not cost you the evening.
- Afternoon
- Leave bags with the hotel if you arrive before its 15:00 check-in. Take a short wander around Rue de Buci and Saint-Germain rather than crossing the city.
- Evening
- Make dinner the occasion. Le Procope is a nearby historic dining option: look at the current menu and reserve independently. Afterwards, keep a little time for the river.
Dinner is not included. For a late arrival, eat near the hotel and save the walk for tomorrow.

Day 2
Art in the morning. Gold on the river.
- Morning
- Give the Musée d’Orsay a generous morning. Choose a few rooms to linger in, rather than trying to see the entire collection. Book the appropriate admission separately.
- Afternoon
- Return to Saint-Germain for lunch and a break. The hotel estimates about 20 minutes on foot to Orsay; allow extra time for crossings, queues and your own pace.
- Evening
- Choose an evening departure for the one-hour Vedettes du Pont Neuf sightseeing cruise. Board at Square du Vert-Galant and have dinner separately. The river gives the landmarks space to unfold.
Orsay closes on Mondays, 1 May and 25 December. Cruise times, river conditions and access vary; confirm your departure and boarding arrangements. Seeing the Tower sparkle at a particular moment is not guaranteed.

Day 3
Small streets, a long lunch, one last evening
- Morning
- Follow a short Left Bank loop: Rue de Buci, Cour du Commerce-Saint-André and the streets around Saint-Germain’s church. This is time to look, stop and change your mind.
- Afternoon
- Leave the afternoon open for a café, galleries or the hotel pool. There is no need to add another ticket simply because the hours are free.
- Evening
- For an illuminated Eiffel Tower view, choose a suitable public viewpoint and plan the journey back. Or stay close to home for Café Laurent: its published jazz programme runs Wednesday to Saturday, so check your chosen evening.
Jazz and drinks are optional, not bundled with your stay. Café Laurent does not take reservations; seating and the programme are not guaranteed. Wear shoes suited to cobbled streets.

Day 4
A final coffee, then home
- Morning
- Keep breakfast unhurried and check out by 12:00. The hotel says guests can leave luggage after departure; arrange this before making a last short walk.
- Afternoon
- Allow enough time for the station or airport, including check-in, border formalities and possible transport disruption. Choose your return service before adding any final plans.
- Evening
- Travel home with room for the journey. No paid attraction is scheduled on departure day.
Airport and rail arrival routes differ. A Eurostar arrival at Gare du Nord does not need an airport transfer.

The moments around the stay
Make two plans. Leave some space.
Paris from the Seine
Choose an evening sightseeing departure with Vedettes du Pont Neuf. A shared boat, the bridges and live French/English commentary: a simple way to let the city come to you.
- Starts and finishes at Square du Vert-Galant, by Pont Neuf.
- Sightseeing only: dinner, drinks and transfers are not included.
- Confirm the dated departure, cancellation conditions and boarding accessibility. River conditions can change the service.
An Orsay morning
Give one museum your attention, then take the afternoon back. The former station provides a different rhythm from the streets outside; pick the art you want to spend time with.
- Standard admission is not a guided tour.
- Usually Tuesday–Sunday, 09:30–18:00; Thursday until 21:45. Closed Mondays, 1 May and 25 December. Recheck access during renovation.
- Choose the correct admission and slot. Check renovation access, eligibility, refunds and accessibility before purchase.
These are direct operator information links, not affiliate product links. Neither visit is reserved or included. A riverside walk and the neighbourhood streets remain free ways to enjoy the city.
Arrive well
Start with the journey that suits you.
London by train
Eurostar links London St Pancras with Paris Gare du Nord. Compare the actual service, fare and baggage conditions for your dates; allow for the required station arrival time and border checks.
Check trains with Eurostar ↗Flying into Paris
Compare your departure airport with arrival at Charles de Gaulle or Orly. For CDG, investigate the RER B towards central Paris; Orly uses a different route. Check disruptions, step-free access and the last services before choosing.
A rail arrival needs a city journey, not an airport transfer. No flight, rail fare or transfer has been included in this plan. Enter your dates, route and passengers on the provider’s own website; nothing is preselected from this plan. Check your preferred currency too: the Aviasales link opened in USD during review. Flight and private-transfer links are affiliate links; Votonde may earn a commission on eligible bookings.
An honest starting point
What might the parts cost?
Here are the items to price, with a small amount of checked context. These are separate purchases, not one holiday price. No complete-trip total is shown because the hotel and travel have not been priced for a matching request.
Two adults, one room. No dated room quote verified. Confirm occupancy, category, taxes, breakfast, payment and cancellation conditions.
Check with supplier ↗Full-rate online admission, not a guided tour or a dated quote. Eligibility discounts may apply; confirm the slot and ticket terms directly.
Check with supplier ↗Adult time-stamped online sightseeing tariff. No departure availability verified. Recheck cancellation and boarding conditions; not a dinner cruise.
Check with supplier ↗No combined holiday total. Check route, dates, baggage, meals, transfers and insurance separately.
Check with supplier ↗Tariffs checked 13 October 2026 at 20:22 UTC. EUR tariffs are not converted into GBP. The checked examples expire after 20 October 2026 at 20:22 UTC and revert to supplier checks; they do not establish availability for your dates. Confirm the final payable amount and terms before booking anything.

One street can change an afternoon
The Paris between the plans.
Follow the smaller streets around Rue de Buci and make space for a table you did not schedule. The Cour du Commerce-Saint-André is a reminder to look sideways: passages and courtyards are part of the pleasure of exploring on foot.

Can I book this as one holiday?
No. This is an editorial idea. You choose and contract with each supplier separately. Votonde takes no bookings or payments and has not checked a combined itinerary for sale. Check that all the parts work together before you commit.
Do my planning dates go to the suppliers?
No. Dates only label the itinerary in this browser URL. Enter your dates, guests and preferences again on the supplier website. This page does not perform live searches.
Is the hotel available on Klook?
Its name appeared in Klook’s search suggestions during research. That is not confirmation of a room for your dates. Use the direct hotel site or search Klook independently.
What if walking or steps are difficult?
Check the exact room, museum route, cruise embarkation and transport before booking. Cobbled streets, river quays and stations can present different barriers. The hotel lists accessible Superior rooms, but they must be confirmed for your stay.
Is this a Christmas-market itinerary?
No. This is a romantic city break. No seasonal market opening dates or festive availability are assumed.
